Since the year 2000, a close cooperation in teaching and research is developed between the researchers of the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Settat (FSTS) and the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Casablanca, as well as researchers of the National Center of Energy, Sciences and Nuclear Techniques (CNESTEN) and National Center of Radioprotection (CNRP). This collaboration was crowned by the organization in 2001, 2003 and 2005 of three scientific meetings at the FSTS on the nuclear medicine, the radiotherapy and dosimetry topics. From this profitable collaboration was born the idea of creation of the Moroccan Association of the Researchers in Medical Radiations (AMCRM). This association is a group of Moroccan researchers of various disciplines, whom operates in the field of the applications of the various types of radiation in medicine, namely: the imagery, the radiotherapy, protection against radiation, radio physics, radiobiology,….
The objectives of the association :

     To promote and to develop the research tasks in the field of the applications of the ionizing and no ionizing radiations in medicine;

     To create a broad space of exchange between the various researchers working on the applications of radiations in medicine;

     To organize seminars, conferences and summer schools ;

     To reinforce national and international collaborations in this field;

     To organize seminars of sensitizing and popularization of the interests and risks of the use of the radiations to non specialist people
